Another month, my final ipsy bag for now.
Let’s talk about it:
The Bag itself – So cute. My favorite so far. It’s a cute canvas with a bright ikat pattern.
Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mongogo Vanilla Coconut Cream Lip Conditioner (full size $10 value) – Chapstick for $10? Haha, get the hell out of here. I assume the mongogo oil is supposed to be rare or special, but it feels no better than any other chapstick I’ve ever used. I hate coconut, so boo. The colour was cool, but that was all that I liked.
Crown Brush Professional Tweezers in pink (full size $6.99 value) – This has a nice, sharp edge, which is the hallmark of a nice pair of tweezers. Would I pay $7 for them? No. I hate pink, so fantastic.
Nicka K New York HQ Quad Eyeshadow (full size $4.99 value) – These seem fine, but of course they sent me the boring colors (rosy nudes). I’ll be regifting these.
Eva NYC Freshen Up Dry Shampoo (sample size) – I actually haven’t tried this yet. I always like dry shampoos, so great.
Teeez Cosmetics Read My Lips in Killing Me Softly (full size $22 value) – The shade is a matte orange coral. But man, this is a crappy lipstick. It doesn’t go on evenly and clumps up with any amount of wear. It looks chalky and icky. The packaging is pretty, but the price is hilaribad. The shade looks not-great with my natural skintone.
The overall – For a bag with 4 out of 5 products being full size, I just wasn’t excited by what I got. Bummer, but I’m currently glad I cancelled. So long, ipsy!
