My right leg is significantly more flexible than the left. I just realized tonight that I tend to favour my left leg for stretchy activities and my right leg for strength things (for instance, taking the first stair.) I’m right-handed, so I think those preferences are pretty common, but my level of flexibility in my right leg? Kind of terrible.
The thing is, even when I was doing yoga regularly, my right leg was still much less flexible. Am I doin’ it wrong?
Ignoring my left leg for stretches seems like the wrong way to go–and let’s be honest, most yoga makes good use of both legs. Should I be hitting my stems from two fronts–more stretching with the right leg, more weight-work on the left?
