Faith

My religion doesn’t need to make people feel bad about their life choices, because my religion forgives and expects everyone to learn from their mistakes.  My religion doesn’t push people away or make them feel inferior, because my religion wants them to feel strong.  My religion doesn’t pick and choose on a whim which “sins” it condemns this year, because my religion is clear; be a good person, be good to others and live a good life.  My religion doesn’t threaten you with burning in Hell or not being loved my some magical man in the sky, because my religion says that you need to worry about how you act in the here and now, because my religion is BE A GOOD PERSON.  Not because a book told you to, not because of some theoretical cosmic consequences that may or may not befall you, not even because I said so, but because that’s what you SHOULD do.
